MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Microfinish Powder – Product Review

Only one product comes to mind when I think about the holy grail of makeup: Make Up For ever HD Microfinish Powder. I am often skeptical of the whole “miracle in a bottle/tube” concept, but this translucent powder is EVERYTHING. After purchasing this product almost two years ago, I use this on a daily basis over my foundation (although it can also be worn alone). It mattifies my skin while softening the appearance of fine lines and large pores. It’s also lightweight, leaving your skin with a flawless, radiant glow once applied.

Suggested Usage:
-Apply to the skin after foundation using a brush.
-Gently circle a kabuki brush in the HD Microfinish Powder.
-Tap off excess product and sweep from the center of the face outward; use SPARINGLY!

*One universal shade for all complexions

Lorde’s New Makeup Collection for MAC

MAC has unveiled official photos from their makeup collab with Lorde and it’s STUNNING. As one can expect, the shades are vampy and dark – yet alluringly tempting. The 17-year-old’s two piece collection with MAC Cosmetics, consisting of Lipstick ($16.00) and Eye Liner ($19.50), are set to launch online starting June 5th. The lipstick, “Pure Heroine” comes in the singer’s signature deep plum shade, while the liquid eyeliner comes in an inky black.

“I have loved MAC Cosmetics since I was a little kid. I remember saving up to buy my very first MAC lipstick [Snob] at 14, and it was used by about 20 of my friends!”, said Lorde when the collection was first announced last month.

What do you guys think? Are you just as excited as I am to try out these products?
